The CP Dynamo 18U will again head to the NY State Championships in March 2011. Despite not playing their best, it was enough as they defeated Adirondack 5 - 0 and St Lawrence Thunder 5 - 2.
Coach Brad Shaver; "We played a very strong defensive weekend, we allowed very few chances against Spencer Landry who backstopped both games. We got some scoring from the defense on the power play and I thought Joe Heffernan had a strong weekend and played strong in his own end. Forwards Matt Smethurst and Shawn Morrow both had a great weekend. We are looking forward to a great week of practice in order to prepare for the tough games ahead "
