18U's Win Jr Rangers Holiday Classic

Despite a gigantic snowstorm, the Dynamo 18U's stood their ground and captured the Boston Jr Rangers Holiday Classic Championship, Dec 18 - 20, 2009 in Boston Mass.

The CP Dynamo 18U's found themselves in the crossover on Saturday night, defeating the host Boston Jr Rangers 3 - 1 setting up a championship game Sunday morning versus the NJ Rockets Jr B team, a squad they had already defeated during tournament play.  Jake Hendrickson led the way with 2 goals, Eric Egan supported with another goal. With a historic snowstorn underway and refs unable to get to the rink, the championship game was postponed until later in the afternoon.  In a nasty affair punctuated by multiple altercations and ejections, the 18U's prevailed with Tyler LIngel providing the heroics with a beautiful goal to seal the championship for the Dynamo's 2 - 1.  Greg Stoya also scored for the Dynamo's making it a total team effort.
